Living on Lockdown
Life as we understand it has drastically changed. The world past our doors is a blur of its former self. We are now stuck within the boundaries of our homes, forced to adapt to a new normal. The days blend, marked by the rhythm of online meetings, streaming media, and baking. We yearn for the simple activities that were once granted for granted: a stroll in the park, a coffee with friends, or even just a talk without a screen between us.
This new existence has brought challenges, but it has also unveiled unexpected strengths within ourselves and our communities. We have learned to be more understanding, more resourceful, and more grateful for the simple things in life. As we navigate this new territory, we must stay hopeful that brighter days are coming.
Six Feet From Freedom
Life behind bars is a brutal reality. Every day, you face boundaries that feel like an unbreakable barrier. The world outside seems so near, yet it's separated by just that symbolic distance of six feet.
Sometimes, the pressure of those bars feels overwhelming. You desire freedom with every fiber of your being. Every sunrise serves as a stark reality that you're confined.
But even in the darkest moments, there's a gleam of hope. A hope that one day, you'll step over those bars and finally be released. That day might seem impossible, but it's a dream worth holding onto.
Confined Liberation
The allure of freedom can be a tempting force. Yet, paradoxically, it can too lead to restriction. This happens when the very notion of freedom becomes manipulated, transforming into a weapon for control and suppression.
True freedom entails not only the absence with external constraints but also the development of internal strength. When this inner foundation is lacking, even in a society that celebrates freedom, individuals can find themselves bound within the limitations of their own beliefs.
Consequently, the true measure of freedom lies in our ability to break free the obstacles that restrict our potential, both externally and internally.
